Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 September 2026
Privacy is Fyndarium’s entire reason to exist, so this policy is short and unusual: the product collects nothing. The only personal data we ever hold is what you type into a form on this website.
1. The Fyndarium app
Indexing and search run entirely on your PC. Your files, your index, your transcripts, your face data and your searches never leave your machine. The app sends no telemetry, no usage statistics, no crash reports. The only network connections it ever makes are ones you start or allow:
- Model downloads during setup, from official sources.
- An update check at launch (one small version file; on by default, can be turned off in Settings).
- A one-time license activation, which sends only your license key and an anonymous machine code — never your name, never your files, never anything about your library.
Unplug the network and everything still works.
2. This website
fyndarium.com uses no cookies, no analytics and no trackers. Fonts are self-hosted; no third-party requests are made when you read the site.
The site has two forms — the waitlist and the beta request. If you submit one, the name and email address you enter are delivered to us by Formspree (our form processor) and stored in our inbox. We use them for exactly what the form says — waitlist invitations or beta access — and for nothing else. We don’t sell, share or enrich them.
3. Purchases
Purchases are processed by our online reseller and merchant of record, Paddle.com, which acts as the seller and handles your payment details, billing address and tax under its own privacy policy. We never see your card number. From a purchase we receive and keep what a seller needs: your name, email address, the license key issued to you and its anonymous activation records.
4. What we keep, and your rights
- Waitlist/beta entries — kept until the launch they exist for, or until you ask us to remove you.
- License records — kept for as long as your license is active, because they are how your license works.
You can ask at any time what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (deleting license records revokes the license). One email is enough: contact@fyndarium.com.
5. Changes
If this policy changes, we update this page and its date. The promise that indexing and search stay 100% local is the product — it is not going to change.
